Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

Chingelish is a space for young learners. These simple rules keep it safe and pleasant for everyone.

Use it for learning

Chingelish is for personal family learning. Please don't use it for commercial purposes, resell access, or share your login publicly.

Please don't

  • Type personal details into the app or the AI chat — full names, addresses, phone numbers, school names or anything identifying.
  • Try to make the AI tutor produce unsafe, adult, violent or hateful content, or attempt to bypass its safety instructions.
  • Harass, bully or impersonate anyone through the app.
  • Upload or attempt to inject harmful code, or probe, scan or attack our systems.
  • Scrape, copy or republish our lessons, stories, artwork or audio.
  • Use automated tools to generate large volumes of AI messages or speech, or otherwise work around our usage limits.
  • Create accounts on behalf of a child without being their parent or guardian.

Adult supervision

The AI tutor filters unsafe topics and gently redirects them, but no filter is perfect. We recommend a grown-up stays nearby during AI conversations and reviews activity in the parent dashboard.

Reporting a problem

If your child sees anything upsetting, or you spot a bug or safety issue, tell us straight away at support.team@chingelish.com or through our contact form. Please include what happened and roughly when — it helps us fix it quickly.

If these rules are broken

We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account that breaks this policy. Serious matters, such as threats to a child's safety, may be reported to the appropriate authorities. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
