Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Chingelish when you use our app at chingelish.com. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Who can use Chingelish

Chingelish is built for children, but the account must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. As the account holder you are responsible for supervising your child's use of the app and for everything that happens on the account.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate details when signing up and keep your password private.
  • Use a first name or nickname for the child's profile — never a full name, school or address.
  • Tell us at support.team@chingelish.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • One account is for one family. Please don't share login details publicly.

3. Beta service

Chingelish is currently in beta. Features may change, be paused or be removed, and there may be interruptions or errors. We provide the service "as is" and do not promise uninterrupted availability or that the content is free of mistakes.

4. What you can and can't do

Use Chingelish for personal, non-commercial family learning. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no attempts to break, scrape or overload the service, no misuse of the AI tutor, no reselling access, and no copying our lessons, stories or artwork for use elsewhere.

5. AI features

Chingelish includes an AI tutor and AI-generated speech. AI can be wrong. Please read the AI Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms, and keep an eye on your child's conversations.

6. Plans, trials and payment

During the beta, Chingelish is free to use for all accounts for the current free period shown on the pricing page. Paid plans (a monthly plan and an annual plan) are advertised but card payments are not yet switched on, so no money is taken today. When payments launch, subscriptions will renew automatically until cancelled, prices will be shown before you confirm, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy will apply.

7. Our content

Lessons, stories, games, artwork, the Chingelish name and logo belong to Chingelish. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside the app. You keep ownership of anything you or your child types; you give us permission to process it so we can run the service.

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Chingelish at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support.team@chingelish.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, misuses the AI tutor, or puts other users or the service at risk. We will usually warn you first unless the issue is serious.

9. Liability

Chingelish is an educational aid, not a substitute for school, a qualified teacher, or professional advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or losses arising from relying on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product grows; the date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will be highlighted in the app. Because Chingelish is not yet incorporated, these terms are provided by its operators; once a company is formed we will update this page with the registered entity and governing law. Questions go to support.team@chingelish.com.
